Yet in many cases, the final result still shows visible interruptions where the profile doesn’t fully match the floor’s design or material.

To tackle this industry obstacle, Unilin introduced a manufacturing technology that enables the transformation of actual flooring planks – made from any type of core material – into flooring profiles that perfectly match the remainder of the flooring installation. By starting from the original flooring plank, the profile perfectly matches the remainder of installation in terms of design, structure and wear layer.
