International Trade Commission confirms Unilin's ITC Ruling

  • On the 16th of September, 2020, the US International Trade Commission (ITC) confirmed the Initial Determination of the 15th of May 2020 rendered by ITC Judge Shaw. All asserted Unilin patents were again considered valid and infringed, and a General Exclusion Order was issued to prevent all importation of PVC based products falling under the Unilin patents without license or other permission.

Unilin receives Floor Covering News Award of Excellence

Unilin Technologies, the IP and technology division of Unilin, is thrilled to announce that they have received the Floor Covering News Award of Excellence in the Technology category. This prestigious award, based on votes from the flooring industry, is a testament to the innovation and excellence that Unilin brings to the industry.

The Floor Covering News awards are presented annually, but this edition was the first to split the Technology category into two sections: flooring solutions and other flooring technologies. The flooring solutions category, which Unilin Technologies excelled in, highlighted innovations such as locking systems, lighter-weight SPCs, air-purifying surfaces, and more.

Your support and trust inspire us to continuously push the boundaries of what’s possible in flooring technology,” said Bart Van Der Stockt, President of Unilin Technologies. Unilin emerged from the Technology category as the clear winner. Steve Feldman, Co-Publisher at Floor Covering News, even highlighted this in his award speech, stating, "Unilin absolutely crushed the competition!"
